EGO Technology is pleased to announce the rebrand of Ucan Secure IT as EGO Technology (Processing), marking the next stage in the evolution of our processing and recycling capability.
Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, this facility will operate as a key part of EGO Technology Limited, forming a dedicated hub for WEEE processing, IT asset recovery and critical materials extraction.
New name and enhanced capability
Following its acquisition by EGO Technology in early 2025, Ucan Secure IT has now been fully integrated into the group.
As EGO Technology (Processing), the site continues to deliver the same trusted services, including secure IT recycling, data destruction and WEEE processing, now strengthened by greater investment, infrastructure and strategic focus.
This transition reflects more than a name change. It represents the development of a specialised processing centre designed to support both operational scale and long-term sustainability.
National Critical Materials WEEE Processing Hub
The Bradford facility now operates as a National Critical Materials WEEE Processing Hub, supporting the recovery of valuable materials from end-of-life technology.
